What is Get Psyched Fitness?

Man there are a million ways I could answer this question:

In the literal sense, get psyched is a place for every day people to achieve extraordinary results through the intricate alignment of physical and mental health. I created this platform because I recognized a trend that is normalized, yet slowly killing many in my generation - complacency.

We are given but one chance at life, and as my guru in reading, Jen Sincero, puts it: “do not deny the world its one and only chance to bask in your brilliance.”

Many around me are living their lives in the realm of “good enough.” My job is good enough. My education is good enough. My diet is good enough. My activity level is good enough. My relationship with alcohol is good enough.

We must ask ourselves: “good enough for what?” Is your job good enough to maintain a lifestyle that allows you enough money to take a vacation every couple of years, while struggling to juggle expenses and stressing between paychecks? Is it good enough to help a major corporation sustain profits while you wait for AI to automate your job? Is your education good enough to pass up the opportunity for yourself to learn from the millions of people who are looking to share their wisdom with you?  Is your diet good enough to keep you alive, but unknowingly robbing your energy? Is your activity level good enough to make you feel like you’re treading water, but you haven’t achieved a discernible physical goal of yours in years? Are your habits with alcohol or other substances good enough, or are they slowly draining your energy, taking you further from your physical goals, and hurting relationships with friends or loved ones?

What are you accepting as good enough?  Do you feel like you’re giving this one and only life thing the one real shot it deserves? Or is there another level - another version of you that you dream about at night?

In the figurative sense, Get Psyched is an oasis for you to find the answers to those questions. A place where those around you know the struggles, but also recognize the immense ability within all of us to overcome them.

Its a place to heal, a place to explore the depths of your mind and a place to push past the limits you’ve unknowingly been imposing on yourself.

I developed my training, nutritional and mental methodologies through years of work. Starting from my first experience in pursuit of physical excellence, I recognized the ability within myself to achieve incredible results if I set my mind to the task. And over twenty years of work, through tons of lows - and somehow even more highs - have found the experience to identify the things holding me back, and how to overcome.

In the aspirational sense, Get Psyched is a dream. A dream that I can only achieve with your buy-in. Because my dream is to help you.

I want you to know that I was in a bad spot mentally and physically. I was on SSRIs for years. I drank aggressively for years. I walked like a zombie through my days, content with my body that was deteriorating, a mindset that was stifling, and a life that was without direction. I was unable to sleep soundly, unable to eat without discomfort, unable to think without being worried about someone else secretly being able to hear my thoughts. My life was devoid of joy, devoid of real connection. And I was completely blind to the madness of it all.

But then I found a way out.

If you know me, you know that my story involves the healing power of the psychedelic substance found in magic mushrooms, psilocybin. Like it did for those in numerous clinical trials, psilocybin lifted the veil that had clouded my judgement and flipped my understanding of life itself.

It helped me to stop drinking. It helped me to work through trauma. And helped me to reform my life.

And through that, I found new vigor, new purpose. I stopped putting myself first and actively looked for ways that I could help others find joy for themselves. I started to live with purpose.

I don’t need you to experience psilocybin or other psychedelics to help me fill my dream. But what I do need is your buy-in. Your buy-in that there is a better version of yourself waiting to be unlocked. Your buy in that through intentional work, we can work to build that version. Because my dream is to help you discover yours

Are you ready to push?

Are you ready to get comfortable with being uncomfortable?

Are you ready to find the part of you that has been locked away, waiting to be unleashed?

Are you ready to Get Psyched?
